Hi!

I'm getting married in Paphos, Cyprus in August 2012. The wedding and reception is all booked but I'm getting a bit worried about all the other bits that need organising eg hair, makeup, flowers, cake etc. Has anyone got married In Paphos that could give me any ideas/recommendations? I'm beginning to wish we were getting married at home as I feel helpless as to what I can organise this end!!!

All help or advice greatly appreciated...

Thankyou,

Bubblesgirl. xx

Hi Bubbles,
How exciting for you!  Do you have a wedding planner or are you doing it all yourself?  Is there a wedding company that can just arrange these things for you?  We are getting married in Lindos & have a great wedding planner who will arrange anything, maybe you could find one in Paphos?

All the best

we are getting married in July in Paphos, but have chosen to use a Wedding Planner. If you decided to use one or want some contact details try Jo at Paphos Weddings Made Easy, she's brill.

Hi there, I am also a Paphos b2b how exciting!!  I am so laid back with the organising my friends say I need a good kick to get me started!  I am getting married at St George Chapel 22 June 2012.  I have booked that, but that it, I now need to look for hair/beauty/cake/venue/flowers so if anyone has any reccomedations please forward them on.  I am doing a bit of internet research as I do not have a planner but it would be great for people to give some advice on suggested sites to look at.

Thanks in anticipation

a very relaxed b2b

I am getting married in the Athena Beach Hotel in Paphos in May. We are using Jo at Paphos Weddings Made Easy. She was recommended and she can't do enough for us. We have total faith in her and she makes everything so easy. She will organise flowers, cake etc. Her email address can be easily found on google. Good luck!

Hi,

Thanks for replies. I too have needed a good kick up the backside to start organising things...good job I've got my husband to be's sister who loves sorting things. We do have a wedding organiser through Olympic but we're arranging it all ourselves, she is just there for the legal parts. I've just booked hair and make up through Renoir who seem to be one of the best most recommended companies, now looking at using The Cake Lady for some wedding cupcakes. Although its worrying arranging things ourselves I think we're definately getting better prices.

Just decided on a vintage wedding theme....anyone got any table ideas etc?

Hi bubblesgirl!

I had a fantastic wedding photographer during my Cyprus wedding so I can recommend it to you. It was Milla, a very friendly and professional woman. We got married in Paphos in August 2011. Now we have beautiful photos of this big day!  If you are interested, you can see her works here http://wedding-photography-cyprus.co.uk/ Read also her blog entries - you can find some important information about Cyprus weddings. I think in the gallery there was something about vintage wedding as well.. but you have to check it, I'm not 100% sure.

I hope this will be useful,

Greets xxx

I got married at Nissi Beach last October!  You've chosen the best place to have your wedding.... it's an amazing place with amazing staff to make your day perfect!

Are you on Facebook?  There's a group called Married at the Nissi Beach Hotel (http://www.facebook.com/groups/5755839053/) which has lots of advice etc.

If I can help in anyway just let me know!

Starfish / shells.... check out eBay.

Hi girls,

Well I have been a busy planning bee since my last post. I have now booked my venue, which looks lovely its Colosseum Restaurant which has great reviews and a fab facebook page. I have found a wonderful photographer called Leah at info@michaelidesphotography.com. She has a great web site, check her out  she has been e mailing me with suggestions for things that I need in Cyprus for my wedding as I am booking it all myself. She has been a true angel even mailing me pictures from her mobile of wedding venues that I liked!!! totally beyond what I would expect from a photographer and her packages are second to none!!

I have booked cyprus images for my video and again Micheal has been great his package is fab and you can check out sample dvd on the site, I just hope he makes me look as good :o

I have booked Renior for both me and my bridesmaids make up and hair and even got the big red bus for the transport. I am going to get the cake from Jackie at Love Island Cakes but which one to choose is the problem!!
when I type it all what I have done I think I am now starting to get there!!

Its not hard at all booking things yourself x x good luck

Hi Amy Johnson 7
We went over to Cyprus beginning of March and by the time we got back we had emails confirming our booking from both the hotel and the church. I dont know why Thomson are telling you, you cant book till May! The Elysium hotel booked the church for us, the church got back to them and us within the hour. Are you able to book the church yourselves they do have a website where you can contact them on. There are some amazing hotels and restaurants for wedding receptions so you shouldnt have any problem finding one! :)
Your wedding sounds lovely Jojo270 there isnt much i need to book myself as everything is done through the hotel! We have a friend who is a photogrpaher (luckily) so weve got that covered. We are also looking at hiring a bus/coach for our guests from the church to the reception, what company was yours with? When is your wedding? :D

Thanx girls! x
