Ok, I'm really quite quiet at work at the mo (can't get involved in anything too big as I'm only in for another 7 days) so thought I'd reinstate a tradition from last years brides - The final countdown!

So I'm going to go for flashes, today the venue. Please feel free to join in with your own!

We are having the Grande Ballroom and Champagne lounge Zoobride - the ceiling in the ballroom is just spectacular and with all the lovely big windows too it should look amazing on the day, for the wedding breakfast at 4pm we are using the same room but I'm using lots of tealights & fairy lights as we marry on 20 December so it'll just be starting to get dark when we go in there..... mmmm should be lovely, I have a clear picture of it in my mind and I just hope it works out how i imagine it!!

Your venue looks quite similar to ours, very traditional and pretty - you must be DESPERATE for the next week or so to go by!! I can barely contain my excitement now let alone when I am one week & 3 days away!!!! lol!

Eeek Zoo, it's so close now. Your venue is fabulous and I'm so jealous you get to spend your wedding day at a zoo.

Lou - That all sounds lovely! Twinkly for the evening too, gorgeous!!
Yeh the manor is 19th century, red brick affair so quite similar and the grounds are lovely.
I can't wait for it to be this time next week - Eeeeekk!!! :-D

ButtonMog - Are you from North Wales?? I didn't know we were so close.
I love North Wales and the venue looks lovely! Hope the weathers clear so you can get those gorgeous views in your pics.

Are you getting married at Oakfield manor/Chester Zoo? I would have loved our reception to have been there but our date wasn't available *sob*. I don't know if you know Chester but we went for the Queens city road instead.
