I considered having a handfasting as well as a civil ceremony but money doesn't allow so i decided against it. However I came accross these sites whilst looking which you may find useful.

Also you could just try registering to some local pagan forums and simply asking if there is anyon with the power to conduct the rite at a cheaper price?

Hi Angel,
I hope you have had some luck I myself am planning a handfasting (well this will be the second one I have planned as we have been struck by bad luck)
I have found after much serching some really useful sites including the pagannetwork and caldronmagic.co.uk. The site I have found most useful is http://druidnetwork.org/en/celebrants/list
I have done loads of research and prep for mine and would be very willing to share any information that might make your big day just that little bit easier!
Oh before I sign off remember if you are holding the ceremony outside or in public ruins to contact the owners first otherwise they have the right to evict you mind ceremony. (leave plenty of time for this if it is local councils as they get very confussed as to what you are asking sometimes)
