Hi,

It's my hen night this Saturday, too! I have no clue what my hen night will be like (my chief bridesmaid etc planned it all). Sorry I couldn't be able to help at all but I thought that a wee little party goody bag that we used to have to hand out at birthday party when we were little.... that might do a trick....

Go to the Confetti Shop and knock yourself out. There's loads of great things to put in your hen bag on there from sashes, to bubbles to male rating cards. Nowhere else better for Hen Essentials. There are a few treates for the bride to be as well if you feel like being generous.

Don't forget to check the offers out first. 70% off for a limited time!

my cousin stopped off at mcdonalds on the way to her hen weekend away and her mum grabbed a load of the colouring sheets and crayons and they got put in the bags aswell..had a competition as to who could colour their sheet in best :)
they also printed off a load of numbers (1 - 10) and if a guy walked past we had to give him a score.. you can buy packs of them but making your own is slightly cheaper and bit more personal.. other thing you can do is print off a list of tasks for the evening.. such as get a guy to buy you a drink, make a veil and flowerpiece out of toilet roll.. you get the drift :)

Oh heck! I didn't realise we're supposed to dish out goodie bags at our hen nights! I've only been to one so far and, like mine is going to be, it was in the house. They did have a pinyata, though, because the evening had a Mexican theme, and we got bouncy balls, sweets and bubbles out of that. Mine is a 60s theme but I think the goody bag stuff will have to be more general.

I'd maybe be inclined to go down the Poundland road as well, or maybe try Tesco or Claire's accessories.

I have recently been on a hen weekend and I don't know the name of the seller but they got them on ebay and they had a secret challenge in, shot glass like a texst tube and a glow bracelt and lots of things shaped like willys.  I thought they were a really good idea and the online shop we got out tutus from had the bags and a few things to fill them with www.partytutus.co.uk/">www.partytutus.co.uk we ended up getting other things to add to them mainly to match our theme so that they were more personalised but they did the front covers to match our theme and they look fab.

I sorted all of the goodies bags out when I was chief for my friend.  I spent a day trawling beauty counters, boots perfume, perfume co, debenhams etc for free samples of anything I could get.  We ended up with moisturisers, foundation samples, perfumes samples, one of the counters gave me a huge bag full of samples that was being replaced by a new line!
I made stickers for everyone at work with silly names on for the night in on the friday while everyone was getting to know each other.
I spoke to my friend who works in a hotel and got lots of mini fancy soaps, shampoos and conditioners too.
We also had mini bags of choc buttons, paracetamol and small bottles of water.
They cost about £1.50 each including the actual bags, went down a treat and the hens loved them!

I'm currently planning my friend's hen night. I don't think anybody expects goody bags. I'd never been on a hen night that I had goody bags on. It was only when trying to find little things to make the night memorable that somebody said they had made goody bags for the hens.

I've brought all my goodies from a well known auction site. I brought a pack of 10 small gift bags in black that I think were about £2 (far cheaper than getting personlised bags printed) Then I made a little print out saying Hen Night and the date and place with a picture of the Hen on and stuck these on the front.

I just scoured this auction site for beauty samples of moisturisers you also get lots of people selling mini ex perfume samples from Avon etc. I brought a bulk pack of mini packs of Love Heart Sweets. I have filled the bags up with.
  • Samples from Lush
  • Mini Perfume Samples
  • Moistusier Samples
  • Chocolate Hearts ( these were ex Mothers Day stock - reduced to about 10p per bag the next day!)
  • Hen Night Badge (printed from well known auction site about £3 for all 11 badges inc postage - she does personlised designs too at no extra)
  • A little thank you card to say thanks for coming along - I designed. printed and laminated all of these from my office so no cost
  • Mini Lipglosses  ( 2 packs of 6 from said site)
  • Benefit samples - possibly the most I spent on them I think about £6 per pack but there were 6 samples in each)
  • Hen Night sash

I sorted out the goodie bags for my friends hen weekend last October. We went with a party and hangover kit. Everyone had a lipstick, nail varnish, small bottle of wine, shot in glass, personalised sash and badge. And for the morning after; an eye mask, can of coke and mini bag of haribo sweets, and some paracetamol. They were all in individualpersonalised bags too they were fab.

Hey, there are many hen party organizing companies, you can consult any one of them, they really make you happy in your tight budget also.
