I am indeedy! I love the snow and this way I get snow guaranteed! Finland is just for us- gonna take our children and my cousin (cousin will have the cubs in her cabin and we'll have our own

lol) but aside from that our actual marriage will be a very private affair. We're being blessed in church the morning of out UK do just the two of us and we won't be dressed for the wedding- i want the vicar to know that it's about the religious element, not a 'wedding' (i.e the hoopla) and then finally at 1pm, at Loseley Park we will publicly declare our love with some personal, secular promises and invite our friends and extended family to share our happiness

God i sound sappy! lol

Finland sounds absolutely lovely! I'm confused though- if you are humanists then why would you be having a church blessing? It would be far cheaper for you to go to a registry office, and as it's just the two of you it's not like you are doing it for family or anything!
Don't think I'm judging you or anything, just wondering! If I had to label my beliefs I would call myself a humanist, and I am getting married in a church. H2b thinks its important to be in a church, and our local one is just beautiful so I'm happy to get wed there! Just interested in your reasons.
