K & K Sorry to hear your guests can't get their fingers outs! Katie don't worry, some folks default is to leave it to the last minute on the RSVP, what date did you give them too?

Lou I'm so glad your dads out of hosiptal fab news. :D

Zoo I have hair envy lol I wish I had long hair! It looks lovely :)

Ruby LOL about the big ticker!

Katie fingers corssed people get back to you with RSVP's.

Kerry squeal for 3 months!! (well actually looking at your tiocker two months now!) Hope you get RSVP's back soon:D

Not much news on the wedding front waiting for a reply from the TOG for an appt. Need to sort STDs (is that not the worst wedding acronym ever!) to.

Very excited though can't tell anyone at work as its top secret and I'm fit to burst so blabbing on here (and not FB!) We're having 'Oscars' at work and I'm being nominated for one. Excellence in customer service! Its nice because I had a bit of a 'melt down' at work because we have a stupid amount on and was saying felt that people expect too much and don't seem to appreciate it. Apparently it seems someone does...! :D

Hope everyone has a fab weekend

:D

Thanks Ruby and 956..stil not had anymore, im going to leave it til a week on monday and then start chasing people!

956 thats soo great about your nomination! Will you have a big awards night? That would be so much fun! Hope you win, you will have to let us know xx

Hows everyone's weekends? the woman across the road from me got married today (I dont know her just seen the car outside and then had to stand there noseying through the window lol) she looked lovely but it has rained all day here, only drizzle but still :( the poor chauffeur was waiting outside for about 45 minutes for her tho  !! I told my DD to remind me of this moment if im running late the poor bloke started pacing up and down the drive looking at his watch but was still very professional when the bride finally came out! I really dont want to run late on my wedding im the kind of person who would rather br half hour early than even 5 minutes late!

Apart from that nothing really happened want to do some gardening but the weather but a stop to that :( got my nephew having a sleepover tonight so im hoping him, DD, and DS will be upstairs most of the night and not under my feet so a can have a glass or 2 of vino haha!

Anyhoo hope your all ok xx

Sadly on a downer I accidently deleted my wedding spreadsheet I am an absolute doughnut! It can't be recovered. Oops!

I know how it is - I accidently deleted my guest list the other week and couldn't get it back. Spent the next couple of days trying to remember who'd I'd sent invites to mentally, as I was only half way through sending out evening invites. Think I've got everyone though. But am fully prepared to receive an rsvp from somone I completely forgot I invited.
On a plus side received the first two evening rsvp's back yesterday they went out a couple of weeks after the day ones - so pleased to have started getting them back. One is from a friend I didn't think would come as it's quite far for her especially just for the evening - but she has said she is going to come so am very please.

Morning All

956 - The award ceremony sounds like a great laugh. Good luck!

Nightmare on deleting things!! I have everything on work PC, iPad and USB, so I always have a back-up lol

Kez - Hope you managed a couple of vinos?! I know what you mean about gardening, ours is a tip but looks like it'll have to wait til after the honeymoon, unless I get chance this weekend!

Nothing weddingy going on really, just a few bits left to do so doubt I'll have many weddingy things to say really.
We need to get in touch with the DJ, as I emailed him last Sunday and still haven't had a reply.
Also the cufflink people have re-done my cufflinks (the original ones had tarnished even though they had been stored in the original packaging etc) and our posting today, so fingers crossed they'll arrive in time (they're coming from America!)

x

Morning Everyone,

Lovely reading about everyone's weddingness.

Sqqquuuueee to pumpkin and Zooey you both look absolutely beautiful and you'll both blow your hubby to be's away.

Love the confetti cones.
We have both had a lovely holiday we went to see our travel agent on tuesday and we have decided on medhufushi in the maldives for our honeymoon 5 nights in a detached beach villa & 5 nights in a water villa on an all inclusive basis, can't wait.
I went to try my dress on, on friday and have now ordered it and paid the rest of the deposit. I've decided i'm going to definately join weightwatchers tomorrow as my self-discipline is awful and i need to be weighed every week.

The next holiday we have we are going to give notice, so exciting we'll be less than the year mark now and it's 398 days for us still ages but at least we're below the 400 mark now. yay xx

Hey everyone

Ordered save the date cards last night. Got a good deal 100 for £11.50. Hopefully they will be ok not lost if they aren't tho. I will flash when they get here.

Was going to have a bit of a relaxing night tonight but not to be. Got an order for a baby bouquet for Friday but she rang today asking if she could have it tomorrow! Luckily I'd done most of it and I've managed to get it done. :D

Here it is

Aisle Be There: that's great news about your award, it's nice to get some recognition especially if things have been tough.

Zoo: hope the cufflinks arrive in time, wish I'd checked mine earlier now, sorry.

Re lost files, I recommend you all try Dropbox, it's free and a great way to back up. I keep all my wedding stuff in there.

Sorry I've missed some posts, just nipping on quickly, hope everyone had an okay Monday. We have FINALLY got our last day RSVP, just two evening ones left now. We have 63 day guests, it's eight to a table (on every table as we're not doing a long top table) and we have two people we might need to bump up to day for various reasons, my brain hurts.

H2B told me he thought the table plan would be easy. I started explaining all the various criteria for people who need to sit together or not sit together until he begged me to stop and admitted it is not in fact easy at all! My brain hurts and we've barely even started trying.

Also, I've realised some people just don't read their invites... argh!

Woolly - Please don't feel bad! Either way H2B will have cufflinks on the day that symbolise important places to us!
The tarnished ones would only be seen in his shirt, so you wouldn't really notice if he has to wear them, but Whitetruffle have pulled out the stops to make sure the new ones are here in time, it's all down to customs now!!!
I'm hopefull :)

We have finally had DJ contact. H2B rang him ast night and my email had gone into Spam (stupid Corker email address lol)
So all song lists etc have been sent off today :D

I am going to print out OoS sheets today at some point and nip down to Hobbycraft for some ivory paper/card to print the readings on (they've already been done on silver, but we are now putting them onto silver clipboards, so thought ivory would look better - How unimportant lol)

Suits will mostly be ready on Sat and I'm having my final hair trial then too!

All go but not in a stressful way, as it's just little bits of jobs. Fingers crossed stress level stays this low. Suspect my biggest worry is going to be weather related, especially as it's so lovely here at the mo. I'd be peed off if it breaks just before our wedding :?

x

Yippee my invite hell is over, i had a total bridezilla moment last night as the only thing h2b had to do was print out inserts which he still hadnt done, so....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Handmade-Pers ... _500wt_922

Oh i love ebay :) the girl is putting my venue in the bottom lefthand side of the invite, and changing the campervan to black and white for us, which is out wedding car, i just feel hapoy that its sorted, shes posting a sample to us tonight and has told me that if i order she will get the complete order to me within the week so dont need to worry about time running out :)

Wow Lou, those are gorgeous!

Zoo, yay for sorting the DJ. I check my spam once a day as I'm self-employed and sometimes work stuff goes into there - I thought everyone did but H2B reckons most people never look in it. Am still getting over the day I asked my CBM if she'd had any more responses about my hen and she went: "Hmm, maybe I should check my spam..." and found loads of emails she'd missed!

Feeling a sense of achievement as I've just sent the caterer details of meals, allergies, wine choices, everything. Next task is to pick readings, we've got one: http://www.arizonaenergy.org/Warriors%2 ... prayer.htm but need to choose another and can't find anything that seems quite right so will keep on looking. What's everyone else having, if you are?

Lou - Yay for getting invitations sorted! It doesn't sound very Bridezilla to expect H2B to have done a job he agreed to do!! Men hey?!? :-)

Woolly - I do check my Spam every few days too, but clearly some people mustn't bother. Anyway all sorted now!
Lovely reading btw. We're having A Lovely Love Story and He Never leaves the Seat Up, which are both light-hearted, so probably aren't what you're after!

Kez - I'm glad he's got back to us. Don't think I was too stressed, but definitely would have been if we couldn't have got hold of him by phone either - Eeeek!!

I'm very excited, today is 10 sleeps to go and also my Fetti Secret Bride pressie has arrived. It's going to kill me not opening it for sooo long :-D

Ooh, not long now Zoo! We are at the zoo the day after your wedding to meet with our tog :) Glad you got hold of your DJ, is it Rob that you've gone with?

Eek, haven't looked at readings for ages! We only have 1 person willing to do a reading and I can imagine him dropping out on the day. I've spent hours trawling the net for suitable readings and nothing jumps out at me! Still got to pick a first dance too. Nothing like leaving things to the last minute :p

Tried to post last night but it just kept freezing for some reason then logged me out. Anyway, this is the majority of my post:

Hi all, been away for the weekend so lots to catch up on! Been moving the majority of our stuff down to our new flat as h2b has moved in already.

Well, not too much wedding-related things going on here. RSVP deadline was friday so just chasing up the stragglers. Glad I put an early deadline now as I knew I'd be chasing people. I've only had a few actual RSVPs back, most of my family have just told my mum that they are coming. I think it's rude not to let me know personally but at least I know that they are coming. I have a couple of ill relatives who have said yes but may not be well enough to come but nearly every member of my family has said yes. Much to my budget's dismay lol Nice that they are all keen. Sadly h2b's family aren't all as keen. I know I said that his brother in Canada is now coming with his family, which is great, think I also mentioned that the other brother is now refusing to come (even though he only lives an hour away) because of an old grudge with the first brother. Well, he hasn't been back in touch at all. I was hoping that he'd think on it and realise how unfair he was being to h2b but it appears not. H2b is very upset but trying not to show it and there's not much I can do. It's not really my place to say anything to them as I've only really met them a few times. We don't want to say anything to the brother in Canada and their sister, who would be the best person to say something, is useless and would probably make things worse. H2b was going to call him but has decided not to so I guess they won't be coming.

My next job is to send out some 'evening' invitations but I've just got my box out to make them and realised that I've taken the printer to our new flat in St Albans so I have no way to print stuff off! Oops. Looks like people are getting handwritten invitations lol Having a bit of a problem with evening invitations thanks to my parents. They own a shop and I originally gave all the staff save the dates thinking that most of them wouldn't come anyway so it wouldn't be a problem. Parents were fine with that. When I came to write out invitations they then said don't invite any of the staff in case they want to go to the wedding and they can't get cover. I said they should get cover sorted then I'll send out invitations so that I'm not 'stealing' their staff. Some of the staff have since mentioned that they are waiting for their invitations so now I don't know what to do! Do I invite them and risk my parents having to close the business for the day because the staff are at my wedding? Or do I not invite them at all after giving them RSVPs?! Really dragging it out now as it's less than 6 weeks to go and I still haven't got my evening invitations out *sigh*

Oh and our registrar called, he has swapped weddings with another registrar so we have somebody new. Seems that she is afraid of birds and the couple she was marrying are having their rings flown in by birds! Don't even know her name as h2b answered my phone, hope she's as nice as the original guy was.

Next thing on my list is presents for DD (flowergirl) and my little brother (page boy). Think DD is getting a spiderman teddy as she is spiderman mad atm. No idea about my brother though, anyone buying anything for their page boys?!
